intuitive, the travel technology provider of the iVector reservation platform, has recently completed their 250th direct supplier connection.

In Q1 this year, intuitive went live with Avis, Hertz and Amadeus Hotels, adding to the wide choice available to their customers.

Connecting and supporting supplier APIs has been a core strength of intuitive’s for over 10 years and is one of the key factors that enables them to stay at the forefront of the travel technology landscape.

Meeting the demand of the market by continually adding new, significant interfaces, highlights how critical connectivity is to the travel industry. intuitive see supplier connectivity as a key element in their strategy to create technological competitive advantage for their customers.

All supplier connectivity can be accessed by customers who use the iVector reservation platform or via a single API, iVectorConnect, for travel companies who wish to remain on their own back office technology.

The travel distribution ecosystem is complex and constantly evolving – upgraded interfaces, new suppliers, new commercial and distribution models. Recent examples include the growth in channel manager, DMC and chain connectivity to access the most up-to-date rates and availability. This has provided intuitive with the opportunity to further showcase their capabilities in this area.

With a management team with over 50 years experience in the travel technology space, coupled with a London based team of bright, young developers, intuitive are well-positioned to develop innovative solutions to keep pace with the ever-changing travel industry.
